Emma's Christmas/New Year Concert

Yesterday, Emma's class had their winter concert! The whole class dressed up and put on a concert for the parents. It was too cute! Emma was a snowflake, and wore a white "fancy" dress and of course, the russian bows in her hair! She loved it, and looked adorable! Family Snow Day :)

Yesterday (Sunday, December 2, 2007), we went to check out the progress they are making on the snow/ice sculptures. We bundled up, took the sled, and headed out to the "big park". They have finished a few of the sculptures, but have not painted them yet. I love the ones of Father Frost aka: "Deeyet Morose", and his granddaughter aka: "Snee Gooreechka"... (inna just had to repeat that one several times before I got it). We also sled down a few of the hills they made, but as we were finishing up, a man came over and told us that we were not allowed on it yet. Apparently, they don't "open" until the 15th or 16th of December...ooops :) You will also see a picture of the snow mouse.... I was told they made a mouse because 2008 is the year of the mouse...I think it is somewhat like the Chinese Horoscopes, etc. ??? Anyway, I am going to go enjoy the darkness :) It isn't even 4:00pm here, and it is already pitch black outside! It makes me feel like I should be in bed by 7!
